Real Women of Zimbabwe would like to join you and the rest of the world in celebrating International Women's Day. Whilst we acknowledge the work that has been done in promoting the rights of women and the girl child, we feel that more needs to be done in recognizing the difficulties and challenges women face daily. We believe that women stand out as reliable and resourceful leaders and forces that hold families and communities together. Again, it is our hope that we as women, will take it upon ourselves to love and respect each other. We also take this time to recognize women who have dedicated their time and resources to fight for our concerns.
